Dhermi is a popular beach village located in Vlora, Albanian Riviera, in the south of country.

There are regular buses that travel from Tirana , the capital of Albania, towards the southern cities, and one of the stop stations is Dhermi village. You can take the bus line that operates from Tirana to Saranda, which operates everyday. Other buses or vans that go to Dhermi daily, are the ones that travel from Tirana towards Himara and Borsh.

Dhermi is located almost 60 km far from Vlora. It takes around 1 hour or little more to arrive in Dhermi from Vlora. In 2023 a tunnel is expected to shorten the path and travel time from Vlora to Dhermi, the new route will skip the turns of Llogora and cut the travel time in half.

Dhermi is 220km and 3 and half hours of traveling time away from the capital of Albania, Tirana city. A new road is underway and expected to open in between 2023/2024 summer season which will cut the distance, bypassing Llogora and making the trip around 1 hour faster.

As we mentioned you can travel by bus or van towards Dhermi, but the most practical would be to travel by your car. Also in case you rent a room at the village, with your car it will be much easier to get to the beach and not walk the hill in summer temperatures.

In Dhermi the prices are higher that in a lot of other beach destinations in Albania, but still lower than most others tourist destinations of Europe. Also it is better to reserve a room as earlier as possible since it might be difficult to find one in the peak season.

Dhermi is the perfect beach destination for young couple, and they make the most of the tourists, also this village is lively during the summer, and you can hear music until the late hours.

During the summer months you can expect to pay around 50$ in most of the apartments in village, up to 200$ in some luxury hotels at the shoreline.

There are some small shops at road by the shoreline, we suggest buying your products in city of Vlora, or up in the village, as the prices are far better. Also it is better for safety consumption as the small markets in the shoreline operate only for 3 months..

You can expect to pay around 10$ for a one way trip from capital of Albania towards Dhermi with a bus or van operating this route.

In case you need to take the taxi from Vlora towards Dhermi you can expect to pay around 50$ for the service.

There are a few car services in the village. You can also find a tire repair service here in case you will need one.
