A special tour, a combination of historical and cultural tours with natural attractions and traditional cuisine across the Mediterranean countries of Albania and North Macedonia.
Starting with the ‘Capital of Medieval Albania’, the historical city of Kruja, which under the command of our national Hero Skanderbeg, was the center of Albanian Resistance against the Ottoman Turks, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Albania.
A visit to the main attractions of Kruja, Castle, and museums of Skanderbeg, Ethnographic Museum and Old Bazaar as we get a look at the cultural aspects and learn more about the history and of course our national hero Skanderbeg. Free time to buy souvenirs, lunch and transfer to Tirana. End of day 1.
Continue the tour with a transfer to Ohrid Old City in North Macedonia, considered the ‘Jerusalem of the Balkans’, a visit to the famous churches of St Clement and St Sofia along with other attractions like the amphitheater of Ohrid.
St Naum tour, visit to Monastery of St Naum, one of the best destinations of North Macedonia, very close with Albania.
During our last day, we will visit Pogradec with a stop at its beautiful natural and cultural attractions like Drilon, Tushemisht, and Old Village of Lin.
