Continue our trip to Permet and after 30 minutes we arrive in the city, accommodation in one of the hotels at the center of Permet.
A short stop at the city stone to have a full landscape view of the city.
Continue our trip with a visit to the famous Thermal Baths of Benja in Permet , located almost 15 minutes from the city. Free time to enjoy the thermal baths, arrival at the Hotel by late afternoon.
Dinner at one of the city traditional taverns where you get to enjoy a delicious meal made from the locals. End of first day

Our small country has been blessed with amazing nature, from the
Albanian Alps in the north to the beautiful beaches of the Albanian Riviera
in the south.
One of the main attractions and popular tourist destinations in the south of
Albania is undoubtedly the stone city of Gjirokastra.
During the summer months this Ottoman styled city is definitely one of the
most lively places in our county.
As per architecture, Gjirokastra is noted for its traditional Ottoman houses,
stone roads, houses like museums, and of course the castle, Argjiro
Castle.

Positioned just one hour from the city of Saranda Gjirokastra becomes a
frequently visited city especially during the season of summer , tourists
enjoy the special architecture of the city resembling old times.
During the night a lot of youngsters fill the restaurant and in the stone
roads and like to eat a traditional dessert and foods or having their favorite
drink.
The castle of Gjirokastra is one particular attraction and there you can visit
the museum and enjoy a journey of history lessons.
While in the old Bazaar don’t hesitate to buy a small traditional dessert of
the city from the locals or you can also take a small souvenir to keep it as a
memory for your visit in this beautiful stone city.
Gjirokastra can be visited at any time of the year though, youngsters will
find it better to come in this city during busy summer months when the city

The stone city of Gjirokasta is the birthplace of a very acknowledged
Albanian writer, Ismail Kadare who has been nominated a dozen of times
for the Nobel prize in Literacy.
Also the notorious communist leader Enver Hoxha has been born here in
this city and during your visit you can notice these interesting houses.

Beside the Ottoman Era houses with fortified walls and the beautiful old
bazaar with its stone roads this city is also noted for its cuisine.

a week we enjoyed pretty much everything, Permet and Thermal Baths, Valley of Vjosa, we also did some kayaking which was amazing, and then on the Road to Korca we saw some beautiful nature, a lot of livestock.

Gjirokastra was Unique, loved the Ottoman Architecture, and Vjosa Valley was nature at its best!

Booked this tour for 2 days, and realized we needed to enjoy more of this so we contacted Erandi again and took another 4 day tour on Albanian Riviera and Butrint.
